I've heard of Bloom's Taxonomy. As the basis for a school's "Depth of Knowledge" standards-based grading system, Bloom's Taxonomy charts have a special place on every teacher's wall. However, is the idea that we can simply ask deeper questions to receive deeper answers truly the measure of student learning?
A new idea has emerged that I find quite intriguing. The idea of SOLO (Structure of Observed Learning Outcomes). Perhaps SOLO and Bloom's taxonomy are actually related and intertwined in the world of personalized learning. So, I'm on a quest to find out more ... Join me :)
